Hireup is a registered SIL provider, though we do not deliver shared support arrangements or own housing. We accept SIL funding for clients who choose to engage us for one-to-one supports within their home.

Using SIL funding at Hireup

Hireup accepts SIL funding for 1:1 supports when the arrangement is likely to remain safe and sustainable across the life of the plan.

We ensure clients have clear information about how using shared-ratio funding for individualised support affects their available hours and the shape of their support model, so their choice is informed and deliberate

What is difference between SDA, SIL and ILO?

Where SIL helps you live independently or with a group of people:

ILO and SIL sit on a spectrum of NDIS home and living options

  • Core supports involve drop in supports and limited assistance outside of support hours.
  • ILO (Individualised Living Options) include at least six hours of support per day and can be up to 24 hours of daily support.
  • SIL (Supported Independent Living) are living arrangements with rostered support staff and typically 24/7 paid support.
