Hireup accepts all types of funding for disability support, including NDIS (self-managed, agency-managed, and plan-managed), as well as Home Care Packages. We also accept self-funding via personal income and some insurance-based funding.

Hireup is a NDIS-registered provider in all states and territories. As an NDIS-registered provider, we can provide support to all Australians with disability, including people with NDIA-managed funding.

Yes, Hireup can be used without NDIS funding. Anyone can use Hireup, we are compatible with most forms of funding, simply check with us if yours is accepted. You can use self-funding via personal income, some state-based funding, other insurance-based funding, or Home Care Packages.

The payment process depends on how your NDIS plan is managed:

• Self-managed: You pay invoices directly and manage your funding.
• Plan-managed: Your plan manager pays Hireup on your behalf.
• Agency-managed: Hireup will liaise with the NDIA to manage payments through your service booking.

Many of our support workers have formal qualifications for providing supports, including Cert III in Individual Support and Cert IV in Disability Support. If you're looking for workers with formal training, make sure to check the qualifications on their profile.

If your funding is agency-managed, Hireup will require you to create a service booking through the NDIS MyPlace participant portal. If you’ve transitioned to PACE, you just need to endorse Hireup as your “My Provider” by contacting NDIS.

If you're self-managed, you’ll receive invoices from Hireup to pay directly. Plan-managed and agency-managed participants have their invoices paid through their plan manager or the NDIA. Payment terms are typically fortnightly.

Hireup rates (cost to the client) are shown exclusive of GST. In most cases, Hireup services are GST exempt, however some limited exceptions may apply.

In accordance with the SCHADS Award, if a worker uses their own car during a shift, they are entitled to claim $1.01 per kilometre. Hireup applies a rate of $1.07 per kilometre. This is calculated based on the distance driven during the shift and does not include travel to and from the shift.
