If you're eligible for the NDIS, a support coordinator will support you to build skills and connect you to providers. They will assist you to put funded supports in your NDIS plan, plus link you to community and government services. The support coordinator should be NDIS registered and a list of available support coordinators can be found on the NDIS website.

Support coordination for your NDIS plan can come in three different levels:
Support Connection
To build your ability to connect with informal, community and funded supports. With a focus to:
- get the most out of your plan
- achieve your goals
Support coordination
To assist you to build the skills you need to understand and use your plan. A support coordinator will work with you to ensure a mix of supports are used to increase your capacity to:
- maintain relationships
- manage service delivery tasks
- live more independently
- be included in your community
Specialist support coordination
A higher level of support coordination for more complex support.
Who can receive support coordination?
You can receive funding for a support coordinator depending on your:
- NDIS goals
- plan objectives
Anyone can ask for support coordination, however not everyone will receive this type of funding.

- crisis planning, prevention and action
- capacity building over time
- assistance in reporting to the NDIA
A support coordinator should focus on helping you:
