Women and disability: challenging stereotypes

Meet Samantha. Everyone calls her Sam. She lives in Brisbane, loves dogs, lives life to its fullest, and is passionate about challenging the stigma that surrounds people with disability. She is also a passionate traveller. Sam created a video about the misconceptions and stereotypes experienced by people who have disability, and shares her perspective as part of International Women’s Day.

International Women’s Day is a global day that celebrates women's achievements or rallies for women's equality. Celebrated annually on March 8th, this year’s theme is: Choose to challenge, as a challenged world is an alert world and from challenge comes change.
