As a student, your timetable can quickly fill up, so we know how important flexibility can be! On Hireup, you can choose your own hours, work when it suits you and gain hands on, paid experience.
You'll be an employee of Hireup, not a contractor, which means we pay super, tax, insurance, and casual and penalty loading. We also take care of all payroll duties and are here to support you.

Clients have different support needs. As a support worker, you will be able to choose what types of support you offer. These may fall under the following categories.
Help with cleaning, washing, cooking or other tasks around the c client's home.
Help with morning and evening routines, medical prompts, and meal preparation.
Help with things like showering, toileting and mealtime assistance at home or in the community.
Provide support to get out of the house, take a class, exercise, volunteer or go to gatherings.
Help clients to plan, practice, and enjoy your therapy.
Help clients get from A to B, using their car, your car or public transport.
Help clients achieve their goals at school, college or work.
Help with more complex personal requirements and support for high needs.
Complete and submit your support worker application. You'll need to fill out some personal details, upload a bio and profile photo, and undergo some pre-employment checks.
Use our job board to find suitable shifts and clients in your area. You can also browse client profiles via our search function and message those you'd like to work with.
Once you've connected with a client, have a meet and greet to get to know each other before a shift. Your client will create a booking request, which you can accept before working the shift.
Submit your shift for your client to approve. You'll be emailed a payslip and be paid - including superannuation - fortnightly.
