Who can find support on Hireup?
Hireup is for people with disability of any age who are seeking one-to-one support. Connect directly with the workers you choose, make bookings, confirm and approve hours and manage your team.
We're an NDIS-registered provider, meaning you can use any type of disability funding to book support workers on Hireup.
We protect our clients and support workers
To ensure the ongoing safety of our community, we screen and verify all users before they join.
We request feedback on every shift, and offer support over the phone and email. We also have a 24/7 incident response form.
We have a dedicated trust and safety team and we respond to every incident.
All Hireup users are covered by our comprehensive insurance policy, which includes worker compensation, public liability and professional indemnity.
Trusted and verified support
Hireup has a contractor-free model, meaning all of our support workers are casual employees and have to complete the following checks to sign up:
- Police Criminal Record
- Working With Children (if working with under 18s)
- Working With Vulnerable People (some states)
- NDIS Worker Screening (required in some circumstances)
- Documents: Driver’s licence or passport,
- Courses: First Aid

Post a job to attract trusted and verified support workers.
We know that finding and managing great support workers can be overwhelming
That’s why we’ve launched Hireup Local Services — a team of people dedicated to helping you with the day-to-day management of your support.
Basically, you can now have someone you trust, managing all of your Hireup needs.
Free for all clients
- Finding support workers, and building your team to best suit you, including arranging last minute supports.
- Helping to manage any complex support requirements you may have, such as: Support from our positive behaviour support, mental health, and specialised support teams and reporting on restrictive practices.
Free for clients with over 15 hours of support per week*
- Training is provided to support workers to help them better support your needs.
- Helping you to take care of the admin, including invoicing, rostering and approving your bookings.
*Clients with fewer than 15 support hours per week may purchase these additional services.
