Terms and Conditions 

When you sign up to Hireup through the Special Olympics Australia (SOA) page, and if you are eligible for the 1% Program, Hireup will contribute 1% of the booking revenue associated with your Eligible Bookings back to SOA. 

This contribution will be funded by Hireup - it will not increase the cost of your service on Hireup.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the 1% Program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a person seeking support; and
  • You must be a new customer who has never signed up to Hireup before; and
  • You must be an athlete from SOA for a period of at least three months; and
  • You must register for Hireup using the registration link on SOA's page. Your registration form will automatically populate a field indicating that you heard about Hireup through SOA. You will not be able to change this box.

The 1% Program may only be used once per Eligible Booking, and cannot be used in conjunction with any other codes and/or promotions.

Eligible bookings and booking revenue

An “Eligible Booking” will occur if you meet the above eligibility criteria, and you make and complete an approved booking within 12 months of your approval as a user on the Hireup platform.

If an Eligible Booking is worked, Hireup will contribute 1% of booking revenue (excl GST) associated with that booking back to SOA, excluding income from transport services. SOA is obliged to use the funding for the investment project it has agreed with Hireup on.

Termination

Hireup can end the 1% program at any time and SOA can withdraw from the 1% Program at any time. If this happens your service on Hireup and with the SOA will continue as per normal but Hireup will cease to contribute 1% of the booking revenue associated with your Eligible Bookings back to SOA.

You can opt-out of the 1% Program at any time by contacting us on (02) 9113 5933 or by emailing Hireup at hello@hireup.com.au. If you elect to opt-out, this will not impact your ability to use Hireup.
